Shang Style Xingyiquan’s Santishi is a Dingbu Yingzhuo (Fixed-Step-Eagle-Strike), Shang style basic starts with Yingxing (Eagle-Form); Shang Style Piquan (Splitting-Fist) is fist-strikes instead of palm-strikes.
Zhang Shijie (张世杰, 1946) started martial arts under his father’s friend, Huo Mengkui (霍梦魁) at the age of 12 until Huo passed away in 1962. In the 60s and 70s, Zhang has studied different styles of martial arts, such as, Xingyiquan, Baguazhang, western boxing, Shuaijiao (Chinese Wrestling), etc. Zhang Shijie started his studies in Shang Style Xingyiquan under Zhang Guoliang (张国良, grand-student of Shang Yunxiang) in 1983.
