A welcoming ceremony of the 8th China International Shaolin Wushu Festival of Zhengzhou was held at the Shaolin Temple scenic area at 23rd October 2010. There were 60,000 Shaolin wushu practitioners participated at the welcoming ceremony with a total length of 16.6 km. The most spectacular scene was the 1000 “Shaolin Bronze Men” performing at the entrance to the Shaolin Temple scenic area.
