Oscar joined Sabah Wushu Association in the year of 2004. During the years with Sabah Wushu Association (2004 – 2008), he has won 2 gold medals in Nanquan events at the 2005 All Sabah Wushu Championship and a gold medal in Sanda event at the same championship in 2006. Oscar was also a junior coach of the association from 2005 to 2008.

Oscar is currently teaching Chinese martial arts and lion dance to youngsters for free at his own home with an intention to keep those kids stay out of the streets and out of trouble.

Oscar started his Xingyiquan training when he met me (Dennis) in 2007. He is so fascinated about Xingyiquan that he has never looked back since then.

Date: October 2009.

Why do we call Oscar a martial geek?
When Oscar is in a “right mood”, he could train hours after hours under the hot sun, he could train the whole night without any sleep, … he could knock on my door in the midnight just because he had some questions of his Xingyiquan training which he could not figure out (can’t you wait until the next morning?),… the list goes on and on.
