Sabah Xingyiquan has a new training ground at the Federal Youth and Sports Complex of Sabah State (Kompleks Belia dan Sukan Persekutuan Negeri Sabah) at Pasir Puteh, Putatan.
Youth and Sports Complex has become one of the training ground of Sabah Xingyiquan. Some of the evening training sessions are held here by Kahar.
The training area of Sabah xingyiquan is on an outdoor volleyball cumm takraw court (adjacent to the rock climbing walls).
The training area will shift to the pavilion in the courtyard on a rainy day.

Dear Dennis,
I am 35 years old and would like to learn xingyi- hopefully is not too old to start. Since I live in Kelombong area which is not far away i think – Can i just visit there and register my self? Perhaps you can advise me the proper procedure.

Yes, definitely, you are most welcome to train with us. You can just drop by at the Federal Youth and Sports Complex and ask for Kahar at the info counter, Kahar is training there every evening. By the way, Kahar is teaching Taijiquan officially at the complex (starting in February 2011), so you need to arrange with him if you are interested in Xingyiquan only.
I’ll only be in Kota Kinabalu once a month for a period of 5 to 7 days.
