China Trip, Spring 2012: Martial Artist Can Cook

I was being invited to dine at various martial artists’ house during my 10-day-trip at Jiaxing City. Well, you guess it, as mentioned in the topic of this post, these male martial artists did actually go into their kitchen and cooked the meal. Here are some examples:

The old man from Zhejiang, Zheng Mingxing, has been cooking since his wife passed away in spring 2008.

Jiang Lan, my taijiquan teacher, is holding the main cook duty in his household as his food is much more tastier than his wife’s.

Zhang Yimin, also known as uncle fatty, is another martial artist who can really cook like a chef. I spent a lot time hanging at uncle fatty’s flat during my previous trip to Jiaxing, I love his cooking.
