- Fu Shuyun – Xingyi Wuxingquan (Five-Element-Fist)
Fu Shuyun (傅淑云) was member of China Wushu demonstration team of 1936 Berlin Olympic Games. Fu was born in Shanghai in 1915, her family resided to Tianjin when she was 12 years old. Fu started her martial arts journey at the Tianjin Martial Arts Academy and she also learned Zhang Zhankui (张占魁, 1865 – 1938) during the 6 years in Tainjin. Fu Shuyun was accepted by the Central Martial Arts Academy of Nanjing in 1933, she was later picked as part of China Wushu demonstration team of 1936 Berlin Olympic Games, she participated the team Taijiquan and solo sword demonstration in Berlin. Fu later resided to Taiwan and spread her martial arts there. Fu Shuyun passed away in 2004.

Yes, I hear only great things about Madam Fu.
In the early 90s, I was invited to train with her and dismissed that chance for convenience, much to my regret nowadays.
She is long gone, but still remembered as a great MAist, a very great female MAist.

It is to my amaze that nobody has actually written anything about her life in Taiwan (as least I can’t find any over the internet), there are only one or two of sentences on her from various martial arts articles.
